Captains and crew are available for hire to expertly skipper your yacht. Our skippers and hostesses are knowledgeable of the many islands to visit, the best places to swim, shop, eat and the night life hotspots. We choose our skippers for their expertise, their friendliness, outgoing natures and ability to speak the English language. Your skipper will act as your liaison between yourselves and the Greek people. You can expect from your skipper, courteous, friendly service along with expert handling of your yacht.


Nikos
Our affiliate partner in Greece, Nikos of Exas Yachting will see your charter from start to finish. There's a good chance Niko will be your skipper when chartering one of his privately owned Bavaria yachts. Niko has had a love affair with the ocean almost from birth. He practically learned to sail as he was learning to walk. His good humor, friendliness and outgoing nature are a close match to his expert sailing and skipper skills. He has earned quite a reputation among our clients and is often sought after as their skipper of choice. Harris: Harris is a boyhood friend of Niko's and an expert sailor. Harris has been sailing for too many years to mention, has extensive race sailing experience and has single handedly sailed to every corner of the Greek Seas. Sailing a yacht to Harris, each and every day, is a dream come true.

Alexandros
Meet the newest member of our skipper family, Alexandros is young, enthusiastic and fun going all around. Like his father, Nikos, he has been in love with the sea and sailing from a very young age. He actively participates in professional races year round between his college classes and skippering during the summer season. He has professionally sailed all areas of Greece with clients who have commented on his expert sailing skills and his positive interpersonal interaction with guests. Not only will you see Alexandros at the helm but also actively participating with clients to show them the islands of Greece that he loves and knows so well. We welcome Alexandros with his easy smile, enthusiasm and good nature!!

Angelo
Our Greek Australian friend, Angelo, is a true outdoor enthusiast. Angelo has joined ranks as a professional skipper in Greece after years of "mainland" living. Angelo has dreamed of life on the open seas from an early age. After several years in the law field, Angelo has thrown in the towel to enthusiastically pursue his dream of the great outdoors. Certified as a yachtmaster and certified sailing instructor with the Royal Yachting Association of the UK (RYA) , Angelo was a participant crew member in the 1993 Sydney to Hobart race.
Like Nikos and Harris, Angelo is at home with the sea, commandeering his ancestral sailing grounds of past heroes and gods. An expert at best, come and sail Greece with Angelo. His warm Australian nature and Greek hospitality is a great combination to set the mood for an exceptional charter.

Giannis

Meet Giannis, a very pleasant and easy going sailor whose every thought and action is geared to ensuring his clients enjoy every minute of their sailing charter. Professionally sailing for the last 18 years, Giannis has sailed extensively in most areas of the Eastern Mediterranean. Sailing is his passion which he enjoys sharing with his guests. You will be well taken care of aboard any yacht sailing with Giannis. He enjoys sports and has enjoyed a teaching career. Languages spoken are Greek, English and German.

Panagiotis (Panos)
A vibrant enthusiastic sailor, Panos enjoys every aspect of sailing in Greece. In his own words..."I believe this is the best country (Greece) to offer the most incredible vacation in the world".
"Always important is that my clients have a great time and I will always do my best to make sure they do. I like sailing but I also like to show clients the best places in our country and to teach them the most important things about sailing"
You may often catch Panos sailing his favorite yacht, an Ocean Star 51.1 3 cabin version, usually with honeymoon couples on board. Panos enjoys fishing and soccer, and speaks Greek and English.

Christos (Chris)
Welcome another captain to the Exas Family. Christos has been an active member in the

yachting world from early 1995. He decided to utilize his sailing expertise as a career which has benefited the sailing community. Christos is certified with the American Sailing Association both as a professional sailor and as a sailing instructor. Christo will safely and expertly handle your yacht while you relax and instruct you on the basics of sailing during your charter. Chances are Christos will be your instructor when taking courses to learn to sail with our school in Athens. Charm, a winning smile and vibrant energy are characteristic of Christo. Languages spoken are Greek and English.

Your friend and host to the Greek Islands, Pericles is well known on all the islands. It is common for locals on the islands to welcome Pericles' group to their tavernas with heartfelt Greek hospitality. Known for his easy going personality and humor, Pericles will make you feel at home on your yacht from your first step on board. Pericles has been sailing the Greek Islands for many years; is an expert professional sailor with a goal to make your holidays in Greece -"the best you will have". Meet George, a well seasoned and friendly Greek sailor known to all for his gentleness and wonderful personality. George has been sailing from the early age of 11 and professionally since 1999.

Kyriakos
Kyriako is a "born sailor" from the seafaring island of Ikaria.
In love with the sea from birth he enjoys sailing more than anything else. His clients are number one on his yachts for safety and making sure all guests have a great time.
Kyriako sums up his experiences: " My goal is to make your holidays on board the best you ever had. I will take you sailing into hidden bays, show you the beauty and history of the islands and if you like good food - I will share with you my favorite places. I will be your skipper and friend in Greece. So let's have some fun sailing your yacht together!"
Kyriako speaks Greek and English and has been a professional sailor from 1994.

Lorella
Born in Milano Italy, Lorella moved to Greece after finishing her studies in Architecture in Venice.
She has thousands of miles sailing experience as professional crew member in the last 8 years. She cooks delicious secret Mediterranean recipes. She speaks English, Greek and Italian. She enjoys design,. sailing, swimming, cooking, photography, music, reading

Spiros
SPYROS KAMINARIS was born in Cephallonia in 1962. He comes from a marine family and his

father was commercial navy captain who taught him the secrets of the sea since his youth. He studied as a technician of internal combustion motors and has been engaged in a professional level with sailing since 1982. Spiro is a professional skipper since 1988 with great expertise in all types of large sailing vessels. languages spoken are Greek and English.
